Interview with the Vampire

Interview with the Vampire tells the story of Louis de Pointe du Lac, a vampire recounting his centuries-long life to a modern-day journalist, Daniel Molloy. Louis begins his tale in 1791, when he is turned into a vampire by the charismatic and manipulative Lestat de Lioncourt. As they navigate the complexities of eternal life, Louis struggles with his guilt over taking human lives, while Lestat fully embraces his vampiric nature. Their toxic relationship becomes even more complicated when they turn a young girl, Claudia, into a vampire, trapping her in a child’s body for eternity. Over time, Claudia grows resentful of Lestat and craves freedom, leading to betrayal and conflict that will haunt Louis across the centuries. The film explores themes of immortality, love, loneliness, and moral ambiguity, making it a hauntingly beautiful and gothic tale of the vampire's curse
